Certificate In Islamic Studies
THE CERTIFICATE IN ISLAMIC STUDIES IS AN 18-MONTH CERTIFICATE PROGRAM BY AL-MISBAH ACADEMY IN COLLABORATION WITH INTERNATIONAL ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY MALAYSIA, DEDICATED TO COVER ISLAMIC SCIENCES.
It is tailored for students of Islamic knowledge who are just beginning their journey. The course provides a solid foundation in Islamic studies through part-time study with qualified & recognized Asatizah.
The 18-month course is the first level of Al-Misbah Academy's Structured Islamic Studies Programme. Students who successfully complete all the modules in this programme (including written assignments and examinations) will be awarded the Certificate in Islamic Studies recognized by the International Islamic University Malaysia.

One Time Registration Fee: $120 SGD
One Time Admin Fee: $100 SGD
Monthly Course Fee: $100 SGD
Entry Requirements:

Able to recognise Arabic alphabet
Students are required to complete all assessments and graded final exam at the end of each level for successful completion of the programme.
Upon successful completion of the whole programme, students will be awarded with a certificate.

Assessment Criteria
Assessment criteria varies in each module. More details will be informed during the lessons.
Most modules require students to participate in a written examination at the end of the module.
Application is currently OPEN. Lessons will be starting in October 2024.
Teaching Deliveries: Core Lessons
All students of the programme will come together for the compulsory lectures held on every Saturday. These are the core lectures and will take place during the term-time of the programme. They provide the core information that you will discuss with your respective lecturers during the sessions.

Course Structure
The programme is delivered through a series of modules and lectures. It consists of eight mandatory modules, covering the Arabic language extensively, as well as Tajweed, Hadith, Quranic Studies, and the foundations of Islamic sciences which underpin these disciplines.
Students will have the opportunity to apply their studies through peer interaction. They may also interact with their seniors, who will mentor them and deepen their understanding of the materials covered in the classroom, taught by a wide variety of scholars.
Qualification
CERTIFICATE IN ISLAMIC STUDIES
The Certificate in Islamic Studies is awarded upon satisfactory completion of all modules at Al-Misbah Academy.
A student’s aptitude is tested throughout the year in a series of examinations and assignments designed to prepare the students for their final examination at the end of the module. The outcome of these exams will form the substance of the certification.
Students who decide to exit the Islamic Studies Programme at the end of this stage will not be issued any certification nor transcript.
