What this website collects, what it does not, and what happens to it.
What we collect through this website
When you submit an application we collect your name, email address, and — if you choose to give them — your phone number and country. We also collect the answers you give about your age bracket, your level of Arabic, your previous study, and anything you write in the free-text field.
That is the whole list.
What we deliberately do not collect
This website does not collect NRIC or passport numbers, and it never will. Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act restricts the collection of NRIC numbers specifically, and there is no reason for a public website to hold them.
Identity documents are provided directly to the academy at step three of enrolment, once you hold a Letter of Offer.
What we do with it
We use your details to assess your application and to contact you about it. Nothing more. We do not sell your data, we do not pass it to third parties for marketing, and we will not add you to a mailing list you did not ask for.
How long we keep it
Applications that do not lead to enrolment are retained for twelve months and then deleted. Records of enrolled students are retained as part of the academy's academic records.
Your rights
You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email the academy and we will action it.
